Organisations that already award records to people: schools, universities, training providers, employers, professional bodies and certification organisations. Issuer access is reviewed before it is granted.

Is the individual vault free?

Yes. Creating a vault and receiving records issued to you through Arrota is free, and is designed to remain accessible beyond your relationship with the issuing organisation.

What does Arrota actually verify?

Arrota shows the organisation behind the record, whether a cryptographic signature was recorded, its lifecycle history, and its current status. The issuing organisation remains responsible for the facts it asserts.

What happens if a record is corrected or revoked?

Records can be corrected, superseded or revoked, and the previous history stays attached. The record remains reachable and shows its current status, so someone holding an old link still understands what happened rather than meeting a dead page.

Does someone need an account to verify a public credential?

No. Opening a public Arrota record requires no account, no credits and no payment.

How does Arrota protect private records?

You choose which records appear on a public profile, and share anything else through private links scoped to selected records and fields. Links expire on a set date and can be revoked at any time.

Can Arrota work with records issued before an organisation joins?

Yes. Eligible historical records can be imported with their original dates and clearly identified Source. The issuing organisation remains responsible for the facts it confirms.
