For training and certification providers
Issue credentials your learners keep
and employers can verify.
Issue each cohort in bulk, track claims, set validity periods, and link every renewal to the record it replaces.
Cohort issuance and claiming
Issue a cohort from one validated file.
Upload the cohort, let validation catch the broken rows before anything issues, and track which recipients have claimed their records.

Expiries and renewals
Expiry changes the status, not the history.
Certification is a rhythm: valid for two years, renewed, renewed again. Arrota records expiry as a status change and links each renewal to the earlier record.
Laboratory Safety Certification
Validity ended. The record still shows what was earned and when it lapsed.
Laboratory Safety Certification
The renewal supersedes the old record. Holders of the old link learn there is something newer.
The rest of the rhythm
Manage corrections, migration, and verification.
Corrections
Wrong completion date? The field updates, the previous value stays, the history tells the story.
Historical migration
Bring a decade of past cohorts into the same system with original dates and the same lifecycle controls.
Public verification
Employers open the link and see Source and current Status. No account or fee is required for the public check.
Your questions answered
Frequently asked questions.
Can we issue expiring certificates?
Yes. Validity periods are part of the record, and expiry changes status without deleting the history. Renewals arrive as new records that supersede the old.
What happens when a learner doesn’t claim?
The record stays in pending claim. Unused claim links expire, and you can reissue the record to a new address. Claim rate shows which recipients have not claimed.
Can we import past cohorts?
Yes. Historical records enter with their original dates and the same lifecycle controls as new ones.
Do employers need accounts to verify?
No. Public verification opens with Source, Status and permitted record details. Formal private matching is a separate authorised workflow.
Can we correct a certificate after it has been issued?
Yes. A correction is recorded as a dated change, and the earlier state remains part of the record History.
Can learners keep records after leaving our platform?
Yes. Claimed records remain in the learner’s Vault and are designed not to depend on continued access to the training provider’s portal.
Can we issue different certificate types from one workspace?
Yes. Organisations can create reusable templates for eligible programmes and issue each record from the same reviewed issuer identity.
